Sources & licences

MarketLab only uses data that its publisher makes available for reuse. Here's each source, the licence it's used under, and how it's attributed.

Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA)

Used: tables A2, F1 (cash rate target), F2 (government bond yields), F5 (indicator lending rates), F11.1 (exchange rates).
Licence: the RBA copyright and disclaimer notice. Cash rate and financial data may be reproduced with attribution. Other RBA material is licensed under CC BY 4.0. Third-party data within RBA tables isn't covered, so MarketLab excludes any column whose source isn't the RBA (for example AUD/USD, sourced from WM/Reuters, and the SDR rate, sourced from the IMF).
Attribution: "Source: RBA". The RBA doesn't endorse MarketLab. RBA statistics are available free of charge at rba.gov.au/statistics.

Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS)

Used: Consumer Price Index (monthly), Labour Force (unemployment rate), Wage Price Index, Australian National Accounts (GDP), via the ABS Data API.
Licence: CC BY 4.0 (ABS copyright).
Attribution: "Source: Australian Bureau of Statistics". Figures are shown as published, without modification.

Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC)

Used: daily aggregated short position reports.
Licence: CC BY 4.0. Short selling data is one of the classes ASIC licenses openly (ASIC copyright).
Attribution: "© Australian Securities & Investments Commission. Reproduced with permission." Changes in percentage points are calculated by MarketLab.

Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO)

Used: aggregated price and demand data for the five NEM regions.
Licence: AEMO copyright permissions allow use for any purpose with accurate attribution.
Attribution: "Source: AEMO". Daily averages, maximums and demand averages are calculated by MarketLab.

Software

Charts use uPlot (MIT licence), served from this site. No third-party scripts, fonts or CDNs are loaded.

Not used

MarketLab doesn't display ASX share prices, ASX company announcements or S&P/ASX index values, and doesn't use unofficial or scraped price feeds.

Data downloads

Each chart has a CSV link with the data as MarketLab holds it, including attribution and licence lines. If you reuse it, please follow the original publisher's licence and attribution requirements.
